Turmeric & Cinnamon Gluten-Free Granola

 

Dry Ingredients

2 cups activated buckwheat

2-3 cups puffed quinoa

2-3 cups puffed millet

1 cup shredded coconut

1/2 cup sunflower seeds

1/2 cup pepitas

Optional add ons ~ hemp seeds, golden linseeds, chia seeds

Wet Ingredients

Heat gently on the stove top to combine.

1/2 cup coconut oil

1/4 to 1/2 cup maple syrup

1 tsp ground turmeric

2 tsp ground cinnamon

Method

Preheat oven to 150 degrees. Combine all dry ingredients. Combine wet ingredients and gently heat on stove top until combined, allow to cool. Mix wet ingredients into dry ingredients. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed. Line two baking trays with baking paper and spread granola evenly between trays. Sprinkle with salt and bake for 40 minutes. Check every 10 minutes and toss to make sure it cooks evenly.
